It is one thing to have enough and another to give back to the society.
That’s exactly what Kim Kardashian West did when she paid a visit to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles; on Wednesday to kick off the second annual Make March Matter campaign.
Throughout her visit, Kim met with former CHLA patients, 14-year-old Grace Rose and 6-year-old Saylor Pierson; and spoke out about how she holds the non-profit close to her heart.
In a statement after the visit, Kim said; “This hospital is really important to me. I’ve actually had friends that have had their babies here, and I’ve spent weeks on end with them visiting them.”
She further added; “My family and I always love to come here, and throughout the year try to pop in and put a smile on the kids’ faces, or more importantly, the families that are struggling so hard to still work and take care of them and not wanting to leave their children by themselves.”
“So anything we can do and my family can do, we love being a part of this community and helping out. So I am here today just to help spread that word and hope everyone gets involved in the Make March Matter campaign.”
The 36-year-old later took to social media where she raised awareness for the campaign.
She wrote on her official twitter; “Spent the morning at the Children’s Hospital CHLA launching the campaign for Make March Matter. For more info go to http://MakeMarchMatter.org,”
While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star spent time with former CHLA patients on Wednesday, she took to Instagram earlier in the week to share sweet pics with her own son, Saint.
